BC Wolves sign Player Development Coach Isaac Jenkins to coaching staff

The BC Wolves have completed its coaching staff with the recent signing of player development coach Isaac Jenkins. The club has recently moved to Vilnius this upcoming season and will play in the Avia Solutions Group Arena as its home court.

The American specialist worked for Pallacanestro Germani Brescia (Italy) for the last two years. During his stint there, he took care of individual players' technical and skills development, working with them directly in training and by using video analysis.

The 35-year-old coach has already managed to accumulate a wealth of experience during his career.

From 2018 to 2020, he worked for the NBA's Washington Wizards, where he regularly worked individually with NBA players Mo Wagner, Jabari Parker (who moved to Barcelona this year), and Thomas Bryant. He also helped one of the Wizards' main stars, John Wall, to return to the lineup after an injury. In addition, he prepared video analysis of the Wizards' games and their opponents and provided game reports to the team's main coaching staff.

Afterward, Jenkins moved to the NBA's Indiana Pacers for the 2021 season. In addition to the main team, he was also responsible for the development of the players of the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the club's affiliate team, which at that time was represented by Naz Mitrou-Long who joined Žalgiris Kaunas this summer.

In Indiana, he oversaw the work of scouts and preparations for select matches, led the development of some basketball players both during training and preparation for games, and actual in-game coaching.

Jenkins worked with various notable basketball players in different basketball camps - such as Davis Bertans, Terry Rozier, Robert Williams, Arnoldas Kulboka and Darjuš Lavrinovič, among many others.

"The player development coach is a very important part of team development. For a long time, we were looking for this type of specialist who would not only contribute to the improvement of various aspects of the game but also help the players psychologically. Therefore, this is a very strong addition to our coaching staff. We want our players to have regular opportunities to receive multi-faceted help to improve their personal skills, to acquire new or improve their existing abilities, and to constantly progress. Therefore, we have no doubt that the experience brought by coach Isaac from the NBA and the G League will be very useful for all the team's basketball players and coaches", said Wolves club president Rimantas Kaukėnas.

In addition to I. Jenkins, assistant coaches Marius Leonavičius and Nedas Pacevičius, and physical training specialist Laimonas Rimkus will also work in the Wolves coaching staff led by the team's head coach Kęstutis Kemzūra next season.
